holy experience

1493~Boys riding bikes in the summer “snow” (cottonwood seeds)
1494~A little girl so excited about opening her birthday presents
1495~Boys excited about giving her the things they’d made for her
1496~Helping my oldest sew her a bunny–without losing my temper!
1497~My second born son’s facial expression when I told him that the baby can hear us now. . . he’s sooo excited!
1498~A little girl who chose her own clothes this morning:  pink shirt, pink pants, and pink socks!
1499~The Bull willing to wait for me when I am slow because I feel lousy
1500~Boys excited about a flying toy
1501~Friends and neighbors who come  to share cake for her birthday
1502~Calf #1 working hard at his porcupine drawing
1503~Calf #2, who needed a little extra help to start his
1504~The Bull there to help us
1505~Getting the chores done together without a lot of fussing
1506~Still pregnant. . .   🙂
1507~A relievingly good ultrasound visit!

1509~A morning with my girl: shopping, lunch, and a new toy horsey
1510~A quote from a four-year-old girl about pain“It didn’t hurt until I got scared.” Now that I have miscarried, the fear of losing the baby I’m now carrying is horribly painful.  Such a profound quote!
1511~A reassuring talk with a friend about children in church and other topics
1512~Dinner out with friends
1513~Strawberries, blueberries, bananas, oranges, grapes, and freshly whipped cream…  yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy fruit salad!
1514~Children excited to help with the fruit salad: the oldest one cut the strawberries, the middle one cut the bananas, the younger two shook up the whipped cream, and all peeled and pulled apart the oranges
1515~Shopping with my daughter and a friend
1516~Dole cherry almond bleu salad kit. . . ate most of the bag myself!  🙂
1517~The boys staying up after bedtime to help clean the kitchen
1518~Feeling the baby moving
1519~A joke from my daughter:  “Why did the chicken coss the woad?  To get to the babies!”

1521~The clouds broke and we had a sunny afternoon and evening

which is a reminder of Uncle Ben, who had a Rambler. . .  born decades ago this week and died six years ago this week

1524~A great visit with my midwife who is caring and understanding and helpful

1528~Fresh strawberries, potatoes growing tall and deep, a “volunteer” pea, and tiny carrots
1529~Mama and  Baby moose returning to the beds they’d made in the lawn last night and helping with the lawn mowing 🙂

1535~An afternoon to talk with a friend, get ideas,  ponder different ways to do things, understanding why things are as they are
