A Sled-Wagie Ride

So this past weekend we did our “Wagie Ride”, in honor of the sweet little girl Tuesday that we have been praying for these past few months.  Owing to the large amount of snow in our yard, and the fact that the wagon was frozen in the snow, we opted for a Sled-Wagie Ride.  When we woke up, the thermometer hovered around 10 below zero; by afternoon Sled-Wagie time, it was up to about 10 above.  It was still pretty cold, but not unbearable.

The Bull pulled the boy calves around the driveway for a while in the sled:wr-driveway2wr-driveway-1wr-driveway3

Then we moved over to the “bobsled hill”:wr-the-hill

Here are a few videos of the boys enjoying the deep snow with their Daddy:

The cat even came to join us:wr-the-cat

And a good time was had by all!!  Except the third little calf, who slept through it. 😦

*This Wagie Ride was powered by The Bull.  Thanks, deer, for all your support!wr-the-bull

These shots are so wonderful!!! I know you probably don’t want to hear this, but it’s 70 degrees here in Dallas, and my kiddos want YOUR snow!

Thanks for linking along. This is a perfect tribute. Em

[…] Until the post, only nine days later, the one that said the cancer was back.  And then we prayed again.  And Tuesday fought that cancer with all she had and chemo and radiation and then, all of a sudden, she was gone. I read that post as my children were heading to bed.  I was glad to have a chance to grieve a bit, before sharing the news with them.  We were unable to go to Colorado for Tuesday’s memorial service, so of course we had our own little wagie ride.
